Each braided Lakota Leathers mandolin strap is hand crafted in South Dakota USA. We use Elk hide because it offers a better combination of strength and suppleness than any other leather. The end piece that attaches to your instrument strap button is made from genuine North American Bison Leather. Our standard braided strap length is 43" with three adjustment holes at the strap button end. Custom lengths are available on request for just $5 additional. Our braided straps come with a loop at one end standard. You may request not to have a loop if your mandolin has two strap buttons.
