Q: Why bison leather for your guitar and banjo straps?
A: Bison leather is 40% stronger than cow, much softer and supple, making it a more durable, desirable, and premium product.
Q: My guitar only has 1 strap button, what type of strap should I buy?
A: Our resonator style straps work great in this scenario.
Q: Can I order a longer or shorter braided mandolin strap?
A: Yes! There is an additional $15 fee and a 2-3 week lead time.
Q: Can I order a longer or shorter bison non-braided mandolin strap?
A: No and yes. We cannot make them longer, but we can include an extender with Chicago screws to attach the two pieces for $15. However, we can shorten the non-braided strap for $5.
Q: Why have you stopped using Elk leather for braided mandolin straps?
A: Elk has been harder and harder to source over the last few years and unfortunately the color, consistency, and quality were not up to our standards. We continue to use the highest-grade hides available to produce the softest, highest quality, hand-braided straps around!
Q: I have an A-style mandolin, do you only make F-style mandolin straps?
A: Although our straps are designed for F-style mandolins, any of them can easily be modified for an A-style. Just be sure to email us after placing your order to make us aware of the modification needed and if your mandolin has a second strap button.
Q: Will your cradle banjo strap fit my banjo?
A: It might. This is a complex question and will require measuring your banjo and watching our install video to make an informed decision before purchasing.
Q: Are your straps adjustable enough to fit youth?
A: Yes, our guitar, banjo, and resonator straps have a 36in body but have adjustable tail pieces allowing you to find the perfect fit!
Q: Do you modify guitar or banjo straps?
A: Typically we do not, but you can always contact us if you feel your request is minor and we will accommodate you if we are able!
Q: Can you make bouzouki/mandola/mandocello straps?

Q: Do you offer personalization?
A: We do not, bison leather is just too soft.
Q: Do you make gun slings, camera straps, or equestrian accessories?
A: We do not.
Q: Do you ship to Hawaii and Alaska?
