All of our mandolin straps are made on the Pine Ridge reservation, South dakota USA. Each of our braided straps use Elk hide exclusively and are hand braided by a member of the Lakota Sioux Nation. We use Elk hide because it is softer and stronger than any other leather. That's why Ronnie McCoury uses a Lakota Leathers braided elk hide mandolin strap. Our standard braided strap length is 43" with three adjustment holes at the strap button end. Custom lengths are available on request at no extra charge. Our braided straps come with a loop at one end standard. You may request not to have the loop if your mandolin has two strap buttons. We also offer mandolin straps made from our Bison (American Buffalo) hide in our four standard colors. These straps come standard 48" long with eight adjustment holes. Whichever mandolin strap you choose, it will offer a lifetime of service. Each Lakota Leathers mandolin strap comes with our 100% money back guarantee!
